Do you have a story suggestion or press release?
Local stories are always of interest to The Jamestown Comet.com. We accept unsolicited news, announcements, and press releases from the Jamestown, Ohio region. Stories from the surrounding areas are also welcome. Please follow our submission guidelines.
Material with unverifiable information or “fake” news, hate speech, or related content will not be accepted. We reserve the right to refuse the publication of any material without explanation or reply.
Submission Guidelines:
- Local stories only. (Greene County, Ohio and surrounding areas at editor’s discretion.)
- Please submit your story in an MS Word document, single-spaced, 12-point, Arial or Times New Roman font. Stories with artwork (photography) are encouraged.
- Email submissions ONLY. Send to: editor@jamestowncomet.com
Note: We never pay for submitted work and there is no guarantee your submission will be posted. If you’d like to sponsor a series or column on our news site, please contact our advertising director: advertising@jamestowncomet.com.
